Hi, I’m Gena Offill — REALTOR®, North Texas girl, wife, mom, community volunteer, home-project enthusiast, and someone who genuinely loves helping people.

I’ve been a licensed real estate professional since 2005, but for me, this business has never just been about houses. It’s about people, relationships, and helping someone through what can be one of the biggest decisions of their life.

I grew up in Whitewright and now call Van Alstyne home, so North Texas is more than my market, it’s my community. I know these small towns, growing neighborhoods, country roads, new developments, schools, and communities because I’ve lived here my entire life and I’m probably keeping up with what’s being built down the road before most people have even noticed the dirt moving!

When you work with me, I want you to feel like you have someone you can actually talk to. I’ll listen to what you need, help you sort through the options, build a plan, and guide you through the process from beginning to end. I’ll explain the things that don’t make sense, celebrate the exciting parts with you, and work through the not-so-fun parts when they come up.

My clients tend to become more like friends, and that’s exactly how I like it. I never want you to feel like you’re just another transaction.

Community is also a big part of who I am. Over the years, I’ve served on professional boards and committees, volunteered with local schools and organizations, and stayed involved in the places I call home. Before real estate became my career, I also spent many years working in Denison, which gave me even deeper roots throughout the North Texas area.

When I’m not working with buyers and sellers, you can usually find me spending time with my family, decorating or rearranging something in my house, gardening, crafting, checking out what’s new around town or convincing myself that I definitely need another home project.
